Jongseo Choi received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Chungbuk National University, South Korea, in 2015. He received the M.S. degree in Automotive Software Engineering from Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, in 2020. He was a quality engineer in the mechatronics quality department of Hyundai Mobis Co., Ltd., South Korea, from 2015 to 2018. He worked with IAV Automotive Engineering, Inc., Germany, as an intern researcher working on motion prediction for autonomous vehicles, from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2025, he was with ThorDrive Co., Ltd, Seoul, South Korea, as a senior researcher working on motion planning for autonomous driving, and on multi-agent planning and reinforcement learning for robotics. Since March 2025, he has been with Hyundai Motor Company, where he is involved in developing robotic applications for smart factories in collaboration with Boston Dynamics. His research interests include humanoid robot development, motion planning, multi-agent systems, and reinforcement learning for robotics and autonomous systems.
